Video: Kirsten Dunst Horrified as Melancholia Director Jokes About Being a Nazi

Here is a video clip from the Cannes Film Festival in which Melancholia director Lars von Trier goes into some kind of stream of consciousness discussion about Nazis and Jews. We don't know what the question was, but he was trying to joke around and ended up making statements such as he has sympathy for Adolf Hitler, that he doesn't hate Jews, although he does find Israel to "be a pain in the ass," finally ending his speech with a joke: "Ok, I'm a Nazi." Von Trier just could not shut up, and everything he said (and joked about) just made it worse.

Kirsten Dunst, the star of the film is clearly mortified by her director's total verbal meltdown. She looks like she'd like to run screaming from the room or slap her hands over his mouth. Von Trier was banned from the film festival after this total disaster of a press conference. Take a look:
