Versace is joining several other luxury fashion brands, including Lanvin and Gucci, that have launched or plan to launch high-end children's clothing lines. WWD reports that the collection will launch in 2012. It will be aimed at infants and young children through age 12.
Gian Giacomo Ferraris, chief executive officer of Versace SpA, told WWD, "This is a high-end, glamorous and colorful collection in line with the brand's essence, with a touch of rock 'n' roll."
