If you are a parent of a college student you should expect them to soon be back home living with you.
Time reports that a recent survey by
Twentysomething Inc. found that 85% of new college graduates have moved back in with their parents. This is not surprising given the unemployment rate for the under 25 age group is reportedly over 50%.
Rick Raymond, of the College Parents of America, says, "Graduates are not the first to be hired when the job markets begins to improve. We're seeing shocking numbers of people with undergraduates degrees who can't get work."
