SNL Cold Open: Dominique Strauss-Kahn's First Night in Prison
In the cold open for Saturday Night Live's season finale, the show took aimed at accused rapist and former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn. The skit portrays Strauss-Kahn's first night at Rikers Island. Jay Pharoah and Kenan Thompson play two inmates who initiate a nuanced discussion of Eurozone politics and related economic issues. And you probably know what's going to happen at the end of the skit. This is the first time we've seen Jay not doing an impression, but playing a character. He seemed to be having cue card troubles.
