Metropark has filed for bankruptcy protection and is shutting down all 69 of its stores. The Los Angeles clothing chain targeted young adults, ages 25-35 with its stores. The Metropark website has news of the going out of business sales in a very large font. The site says clothes are 20% to 40% off the original ticket price. Chain Store Age says Gordon Bros. Group and Hilco Merchant Resources are running the going-out-of-business sales for Metropark.
