Los Angeles Lakers Swept in Five Games by Dallas Mavericks. Phil Jackson to Retire
The Lakers were swept by the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs. The final game of the series Dallas stomped the Lakers 122 to 86. It was an embarrassing defeat for the Lakers. Kobe Bryant had a measly 17 points in the game. Phil Jackson told reporters it was a "wonderful run." He says this was probably the final game he will coach. Jackson won five championships with the Lakers. Take a look:
