Sandra Lee has landed a five-book deal with Hyperion. The deal includes three cooking and entertaining books. Sandra Lee has already published nearly two dozen cookbooks, such as Semi-Homemade The Complete Cookbook, pictured on the right. Many of her books have been bestsellers. The first two books in the Hyperion deal will be published Fall 2011 in tandem with Food Network's fifth season of Sandra's Money Saving Meals tv show. The five book deal will include two Sandra Lee novels that will come out in Summer 2012 and Summer 2013. The novels will be based on fictional food characters with a peppering of recipes to coincide with the characters throughout the book.
Sandra Lee has also cut a deal with Disney Interactive Media Group for a 15-episode online video series that will kick off during the 2011 holiday season.
